Face to Face Appointments at Level 1

Please read the important information below about consultations at Level 1 and how to book. It is important that you do not make an appointment if you have had or been exposed to anyone who has had any of the following:

  • Sore throat, cough, fever, runny nose, loss of taste or smell in the last 14 days

  • Travelled overseas in the last 14 days

  • Been asked to self isolate in the last 14 days

Now that we have shifted to Alert Level 1 we begin a new normal. We have been informed by the NZ Physiotherapy Board and Ministry of Heath, that we will need to continue with Health Screening and Contact Tracing everyone who comes on site (both patients and support people/children).

We are also continuing to offer TeleHealth Consults online for those that would prefer this option. More information on how the TeleHealth Consults work is available here.

To ensure your safety and ours we are implementing the following
(as per MOH and NZ Physio Board recommendations):

Postponements due to Illness/Contact with those who have been advised to self-isolate will not be charged for

  • Please postpone your appointment if you have been unwell in any way in the last 14 days

  • Please also postpone if you have been in contact with anyone who has been advised to self-isolate or you or anyone in your bubble has traveled overseas in the last 14 days

  • Please read the email reminder and email back to confirm you are coming and that you have answered the pre-screening questions. We are required to pre-screen for COVID-19 each time a patient is booked (and then again when you arrive).

On Arrival

  • On arrival please don't come in, please wait outside the sliding door and only come into the clinic once someone has screened you and let you in. If its raining please wait in your car and we will call you to come in

  • Only patients and one support person are to come into the clinic please (this is to help us with contact tracing if necessary). All support people must also complete screening before entering

Hand Sanitiser and Masks

  • When you enter please use the hand sanitiser at the entrance

  • You do not need to wear a mask at level 2, however you're welcome to bring one and wear it if you'd like to. If you do wear a mask, please make sure it remains on until you leave the clinic and that it is pinched in around the nose to ensure a good fit

  • Physios will be wearing masks for treating all areas of the body above the waistline as this often puts us in close contact with you. At times we may also need to wear a face-shield and gloves for your protection and ours

  • We will be cleaning all surfaces after each patient so please be kind if we are running a little late (we have scheduled in some extra time to do this but sometimes we may still run a bit behind)

  • To aid with cleaning we will not have linen on the beds

  • To help us with cleaning and hygiene, please wear appropriate undergarments and bring 2 large, clean towels with you (one to use on the pillow and bed and one to cover you) to each appointment

  • During this time we will only be taking contact-less credit card payments or eftpos (please use the corner of your card to press the keypad/use the hand sanitiser provided before touching the keys)

Contact Tracing

  • If in the unfortunate event that you find out that you may have been exposed to COVID-19, please let us know ASAP so that we can follow appropriate procedures

  • Please click the Book Now Button and email us to make an appointment
